I am not worthy

I'm such an ingrate that it's taken me over a week to get around to proudly displaying my two newest awards:

I want to commend these lovely ladies on their keen insight and discerning taste...oops. I want to thank these lovely ladies for their kindness and for reading/commenting on my blog.

I know I still haven't fulfilled a last requirement of the Honest Scrap Award (passing it on to ten other bloggers) - but I've spent so little time reading other blogs lately, I will have to defer that final step a while longer.

Thanks again, Sunshine and Jess. I really appreciate your support.

Above is pictured the stack of debit card slips that I entered into Microsoft Money last night - instead of writing a decent blog post.

Once they are entered, they get placed into envelopes - until I balance the checking account (for that month - or, in this case, quarter...millenium) - and look like this:

Not that it's big deal or anything. I'm totally composed, you know. I've maintained a sense of dignity about the whole thing. WOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's Decoration Day - so I'm decorating.

Since I am still a relative neophyte in the Blogiverse, it has taken me some time to prepare for the awesome responsibility that was laid upon me almost a month ago - that is, to pass on some blog awards.
