Another day, another DEUCE.  What a lucky boy I’ve been this week.

Guess #1 provided three letters again today (H, N & E) — this time, all were in position.  And once again, only 3 possible solutions remained (predictably, The Bot found this “extraordinarily lucky”).   But unlike yesterday, my meticulous (read:  anal retentive) record-keeping from Game #706 (SWINE on 5/26/2023) showed that I was facing a coin flip.  My history on coin flips is not stellar — and I typed in Guess #2 with some trepidation.  But a shiver ran down my SPINE as all the letters turned GREEN.  I beat The Bot (2 to 3 for a second consecutive day, I love it) and bested the (current) NYT avg (2 vs 3.5).  Hope you all are having a great day.
